The Olde English Bulldogge is an active dog. It is suited for people who would like to have a devoted companion at their elbow. The breed does not need a lot of exercise. These dogs are highly adaptable and suited for city dwellers. They are not demanding in terms of walks. Light exercise is needed for the dog to maintain the shape.
Olde English Bulldogges - Health
What is really great about the Olde English Bulldogge is that it is healthier than the English Bulldog. Olde English Bulldogges live for about 11 years and more. They are prone to hip dysplasia. However, breeders are managing this condition. All the breeding stock has to be certified. No breeding of hip affected dogs is allowed. The breed may also suffer from bloat. Yet, Olde English Bulldogges are very robust in comparison to their AKC relatives.
